Palapa ReRoof - Day 2

The crew was back bright and early this morning to get started putting the roof back on our poolside palapa. Yesterday's group of six has been augmented by a few more bodies today. We have four weavers on the roof placing the fronds, two guys hauling new fronds in from the parking lot, two women handing the fronds up to the weavers, and a boss keeping an eye on all the activity. This guy seems the most experienced, perhaps that is why he is working over the pool. I like him because he works barefoot and is brightly colored for photos. They got about half done today by the time they quit. I suspect one more day and our palapa will be back to providing shade from the sun and protection from the rain.
