It's been quite a week!  Work, house guest and C's final week at school. C's done so well at school despite the many challenges she faced, and at the academic awards went away with 6 awards including a special one for excellence in creative writing and selfless service to others. #ProudMom. Yesterday was the Valedictory ... a beautiful meaningful way to close their school lives and they head off into another phase.  I kept thinking about the girls I work with in Hanover Park and how they would benefit from this sort of acknowledgement.
This photograph was taken from the German School on the side of Table Mountain where I went to support a dear friend in a photography exhibition.
