The Wrigley Building

Today it was back to work for me! I flew off to Chicago this afternoon. By the time we got to the hotel it was dark, but I had a fantastic view of the Wrigley Building from my room.

Built between 1920 and 1924, to house the headquarters of the Wrigley corporation, the building was the first air conditioned office building in Chicago. The tower was built in the shape of the Giralda Tower of Seville's Cathedral. In 2011 the building was finally sold on to a group of investors including the founders of Groupon.
