A wee dauner...

...before the Rooster's real birthday tea today. It's not a birthday tea if you don't get to decide the meal and everyone eats it.

Rooster made his usual choice of smoked haddock on a bed of spinach, with mashed potatoes and vegetables...broccoli, cauliflower and sugar snap peas. It's a good choice...cousin Conor thought so too and eat all his up...quickly:-)

This was of course followed by birthday cake.

We were lucky when we were out walking...rain was threatening but we managed to get round the wee circuit we were doing dry.

Grateful for a walk in the fresh air and for a good meal.
