Tranquil

After yesterday's little 'mishap' on the stairs, I have stayed pretty close to 'home'. Dolly needed walking, of course, so we went out about 830am. My foot wasn't too painful so I overdid it, of course, and then it swelled up again. Lesson learned. More ice. More pills. More mountains of pillows. Back to bed for a late morning nap. It was delicious!

The sun came out today and we even sat out on the verandah and had lunch! And a few minutes later it poured with rain! Oh well, what better way to spend an afternoon but with an old black and white movie. I watched 'They Flew Alone' - about the famous aviatrix, Amy Johnson. Made in 1941. What a brave woman!

It's been a relaxing day, and my ankle IS slowly feeling better. Thankfully Dolly doesn't need more than a wander around on the grass between the hut and the lake. This is the view we had on our early evening walk. Gorgeous!
