Our Busy Day

Hello Blipfriends!
Dolly here - my turn to report today!

We are LOVING our holiday! Mum's ankle is feeling better but is still a bit swollen so she still has it elevated sometimes and we have stayed close to 'home'.

We got up super early and did a short walkie while it was still dark. It's a good thing too because it rained soon after that for an hour or two. We were very cosy inside. We spent the morning reading and watching something on the iPad and then mum had another nap at about lunchtime and slept an hour. She sure sleeps soundly!

The sun was out so we had a little picnic lunch sitting on a log by the lake. But it was so windy we couldn't stay very long. Brrr!

I snoozed most of the afternoon while Mum read, and watched some more iPad stuff. Plenty of tea and cake were consumed. Soon it was time for our sunset walk and to say hello to the sheep. They didn't run away quite so quickly this time. Maybe they're getting used to us.

We had a delicious 'ready meal' for dinner - butternut risotto with feta - and I got some nibbles too. More reading, more iPad programmes, a quick bedtime walkie and off to bed.

See? A busy day! Perfect!!
But tomorrow we have an ADVENTURE planned!
