Journey Through Time

For Kathi Goertzen

This rose, our own Hot Chocolate, is for Kathi Goertzen, a KOMO Channel 4 in Seattle, WA anchorwoman who was on their news for 25 years. She died today after undergoing years of treatment and surgeries for a benign brain tumor. I, and a lot of other people who have had an Acoustic Neuroma, have followed her story. We didn't have the same tumor, but we cheered her on and hoped she would win this battle. Sadly she did not.

Going to be a warm/hot week again. August is upon us. Tomorrow will be the most comfortable of the days, so Bill said we can go explore one of my park walks that I have on my Clark County Bucket List. We will probably go east to Lacamas Lake Park. That should be real pretty. Of course, I will share with you.

Take care my Blip buddies. Limiting my comments, as I still have trouble with my arm. It's never going to heal if I don't rest it. I have contemplated not being on here daily or taking a leave of absence or posting a photo with no journal entry and no comments. I shall let you know.

See ya later, Blippers
