Night action

So about them Perseids meteor showers...

After missing them the night before, I tried again last night. I pointed my camera at the sky with long exposures (3-5mns) and got a series of shots such as this one, capturing the movement of clouds across the sky. The color must be from the ambient light of surrounding localities because it sure didn't look like this to the naked eye.

I was hoping that I might catch a stray meteor, even accidentally, but noooo. I called it quits at about 4am and decided astronomy isn't for me :)
