Celastraceae
There's not much in nature (well, in the British Isles at least...) that's lurid pink like the seed pods of Euonymus europaeus (Common Spindle.) And to make the whole affair really lurid the seeds are bright orange - all quite striking in bright Autumn light...
Unusually for trees & shrubs the shoots & stems of Euonymus are green as they contain chlorophyll, and can therefore photosynthesise. Additionally, as the twigs mature they become square-sectioned, so all in all this is a rather easy plant to identify!
