Red raindrops

The sun has broken through this afternoon, but it was a morning of drizzle and dark skies. We had a consultant come to do a free energy audit through MassSave this morning for about 4 hours. She was great and made a lot of insulation recommendations and checked our heating system and hot water heater etc. She ended by replacing every lightbulb in the house with energy saving light bulbs(warm light, bulbs good for as much as 20 years with normal use) at no cost. We will take advantage of the insulation recommendations and there are substantial yearly rebates as well. She enjoyed doing the work in an old house, she said so many she goes to daily are just new cookie cutter homes. Checking anything in this house is never boring, that's for sure. Raspberry enjoyed the company and all the boxes with the new lightbulbs.

I'm really tired, I had an early night last night and I think this one will be as well. I'm suffering from Presidential Election Trauma as is much of the population. I can't bear to listen, but also can't not, it's all consuming in many ways and very scary. November 8th can't come soon enough.
