But they're still grinning...

even if some cruel ruffians stole them from a festive doorstep and tossed them on the side of the road. I came upon then when I stopped this morning to take some foliage shots at a small river near our house.  Sad, but still grinning they survived the toss quite well, but my I'm sorry for the empty doorstep they once graced.

The iPhone 7 camera captured the fall colors perfectly.
