A day off.

Actually it was Geelong Cup Day so the kids had the day off school and S didn't have work....A holiday for a horse race and we have no idea, or interest in knowing, who won.
It was a rare lovely spring day so we spent the morning tidying the garden and in the afternoon S, N and the girls with a couple of neighbours rode along the river to Fyansford. There is an old paper mill there which is slowly becoming an arts precinct and has a rather quaint cafe. The kids played chess while we talked before the very pleasant ride home. Very nice way to spend the day.....even if it feels like tomorrow should be Sunday.
