Annes Garden

The community of Gan-y-Mor Road have just taken delivery of 4 rescue chickens and they have started to lay immediately. The chickens are being housed in Anne,s Garden which has been developed on land which was bought to prevent development that would have ruined Annes view from her purpose built disabled flat.
The land had been untouched for many years and the community has cleared the land ,reseeded the slopes, rebuilt many of the original garden structure and installed a donated summerhouse. Major planting is planned for next year and a greenhouse frame has just been donated.
The development of Annes garden has strengthened an already strong community and I am waiting for my hens to arrive so i can have fresh eggs for breakfast and we have bought 1 chicken for our 5yr old grandsons Christmas present.
