Big build up for our first day out with no kids and dogs for years. Quite an achievement given our inability to be organised or make decisions. But we did it. Cinema....why did they relocate Girl on a Train from London to Manhattan? It does make a difference Mr Kermode, it really does.....then food, then a wee meander round the town, then a gone with the wind whale watch moment on the top of a windy hill. Supposed to be fuelled by a couple of tipples but, you know, hangover put paid to that. No hair of the dog.
