Sparrow's Fart

Day off so up with the lark to make the most of it.

The sky was wonderful as His Nibs and I made our way along the deserted lanes, too early even for the farmers bringing in the bales.

After yesterday's encounter, I greeted the morning with a renewed positivity and have had a very productive time so far.

Many chores done and a few hours working on my big old Cat. She was 21 last month and is in need of some TLC after a winter out in the open. No way to treat an old lady.

Even a shower did not dampen my spirits, although it did so to my washing!
