Time for a bit of history

Early this morning I ran along the Pergnitz river (I aim to run in every place that we visit overnight) which was lovely.
We then visited the former Nazi Rally Grounds and Memorium for the Nuremberg trials.
The sheer scale of the rally grounds are terrifying, although a lot has been built in the area now. The photos, exhibitions and audio held the interest of Olivia, and Dex listened to some and there were lots of questions which we tried to answer without scaring the kids.
We had a good walk and explore afterwards and then headed back into the city for some light relief! It really is a lovely city and we enjoyed some typical Bavarian food.

Former Nazi Ralley Grounds and Memorium Nuremberg Trials)
Nuremberg, the city of the Nazi Party Rallies, the city of the racial laws, the city in which the trials against those primarily responsible from the national socialist regime were held. In the Third Reich Nuremberg was the "City of the Nazi Party Rallies". The north wing of the unfinished Congress Hall on the former Nazi Party Rally grounds, designed by the National Socialists to accommodate 50,000 people, is now occupied by the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds.
