Back In My Boat

It has been too long since I paddled my kayak on our beautiful bay. Granted I have been doing the SUP thing, but kayaking is where I am truly comfortable. It felt GREAT to be tightly fitted into the customized cockpit of my Perception Sabre, Harmony sprayskirt snapped in place, and Warner paddle at the ready (those brand names will mean nothing to most, but any old - and I do mean old - kayaker should recognize that my equipment is not the most cutting edge). I like how this photo makes me look really tall, thanks low angle sunshine. The water was the most calm I have ever experienced. Made my kayaking return all the more pleasant.
