London Skyline
Spent the day in London with friends/blippers Steve Oldfield, Kathy Chantler and Gill and Trevor Keville.
Our primary reason for travelling into London was to visit David Yarrow's Wild Encounters Exhibition at Somerset House. An excellent exhibition with 43 outstanding photographs on show. Here's a link to David Yarrow's website - well worth a look!
We then crossed over Waterloo Bridge where this shot was taken of the Thames and London's skyline, a quick stop for coffee and then a walk along the South Bank. Another visit to the skateboard park where one skateboarder was attempting a jump over the railings. After several attempts he made a clean jump landing on his skateboard on the other side. Luckily, after several blurry photographs, I managed to capture his success in reasonable focus! I've attached an album with includes the five consecutive shots of his jump. There was also a young guy entertaining the crowds doing some street dancing.
Ended the day with a fish and chip supper before heading home.
A very enjoyable day with great company.
