Going Round in Circles

An interminable cycle of report writing continues, and with 2 days later this week in the Isle of Man, it means I am yet again under the cosh to get a move on. Result being another TeamGB delegated Blip contribution today - and this one being finally from J (after her last none-starter). She even 'let' me brush her hair today before she went out for the walk, which she hasn't allowed me do since she was about 5 years old without screaming. I did have to first chase her round the kitchen with a hairbrush mind to pin her down - She's still my little daughter after all!

J took various images in a Tatton Park walkabout with her mum, including some very interesting ones in the 3D Panorama App's Stereographic mode. Only problem is that process reduces the image size right down. Will include one on Blipfolio here anyway.

The picture of hers I chose in the end though was the Victorian Carousel as it gave me chance to mention a link to the giant Marine Worlds Carousel in Nantes just opened in July. It is made by brilliant artist group called Les Machine. Like my pilgrimage to see André Chénier of last month, I desperately now want to see this in the flesh too - and what could ever be better than mechanical fish?

On that same note, who could ever forget the closing film credits in A River Runs Through It for John Foust, as the 'mechanical fish operator' - well I can't (the thought still makes me laugh).
