Shish had her first drumming lesson this afternoon. She hasn't let go of the sticks since. I'm going to get her a drum-kit tomorrow. To say she's excited is probably the understatement of the year. I guess we're going to have drumming from 6am through to when I can prise the sticks out of hand in the evening...or when she falls asleep with her head on the snare drum.
After putting up with two children who need nagging to practice their musical instruments, I do enjoy having someone who practices as much as I did as a child. And it hardly even annoys me because I know how much she loves it and how wonderful it is to make music all day.
