Tree of Life

A quick visit to Roxas Night Market with mom tonight and took a few photos of the new memorial built on the site of the bombing last Sept 3. The names of the people who died were written on marble stone just below a tree of bougainvillea.

Mom talked to one of the masseuse who was also working during the night of the bombing incident who told us that it was her customer, who was standing in front of her, who got hit by a few shrapnel of the bomb instead of her. Her customer eventually lost a part of her leg from it. The masseuse was lucky enough to have only gotten a small cut on her left arm.
