Last Day

We went for a wee drive to Collodi ............. home town of the author of The Adventures Of Pinocchio (where there a Pinocchio theme park - and the wonderful looking gardens in the Blip .... which were closed!).
As we left the 'town' to head up into the mountains we had a slight fright ...... as the articulated lorry coming down the hill and round the corner towards us started to jacknife and the rear of the trailer came to say Hello.
I am very glad that the rain shower passed over after the incident rather than before - that could have had some rather dire consequences.
It didn't half get the heart racing I can tell you!

In the afternoon we had a lovely time wandering round the Spa in town - soaking up the sun.
The lady in the main street didn't bother finding somewhere quiet - she just crashed out on a bench.

The week has gone so quickly - such a shame.
