Brodgar: Prehistoric Stone Cirle
After even more scintillating dancing last night we recuperated this morning somewhat. Our friends in the village had been away sooth so we invited them down for breakfast; very well worthwhile. They had even photocopied a pristine Times crossword for all of us to do. Dougal played a blinder and as usual started at 55 cross.
Across to Brodgar for a sprint about. We are now back home and listening to the gentle rain falling. It’s not often possible to use the words ‘gentle’ and ‘rain’ in combination in Orkney. Weatherwise we have had a very good year.
