Around Lanark

A perfect day for taking photos.  We walked to The falls of Clyde-see extra, and then went on to explore a bit of the Lanarkshire countryside beyond the falls.
This photo looks down to an abandoned croft where we found a very old orchard with plenty of apples, plum and pear trees dropping their harvest to the ground.  We also wandered round a derelict walled garden on the old Bonnington House Estate. All very interesting.
