Fiery sunrise

This, just before 8am today, should have had the shepherds all scuttling for their waterproofs or whatever they need, but in fact it's been a glorious afternoon despite a brief threat of rain to the north of us that never quite caught us up. 

I'll include another photo for today, simply because there are a few and I can't resist it - the rocks on the shore of Loch Striven seen through the trees. There were several herons in flight up and down the loch, but they eluded my camera ...
