Vintage bird coasters

I bought these lovely coasters at one of the gift shops on Broughton Street. I just couldn't resist them. The birds will keep be good company for the hares (or rabbits - the jury is still out on that question).

It's been a day of getting organised. I worked hard all morning to reduce my work email in-box to zero by 12:30 - hurrah! An email backlog always makes me anxious.

Then I caught up by phone with ClarissaFox in Manchester and Sarah on the Isle of Man. We have plotted trips to the Foxes in the New Year, and to Liverpool with Sarah and other friends in the spring.

Mr hazelh and I have also made arrangements for the return of the pool lizard in February 2017 - exciting!

Unfortunately I haven't managed to reach the bottom of my list of things to do, but at least it's shorter than it was this morning.

Exercise today: I went for a run!!! I just did one of my morning loops as a try-out for my return to fitness following injury, but did it in a very good time . Even Mr hazelh was impressed :-)
