Gardening

A day of gardening. MY sort of gardening. I'm hopeless at growing things but when things DO grow, boy, am I good at cutting them back and digging them out. I applied a 'scorched earth' policy to the border I planted several years ago which became badly overgrown; apart from a severely cut back red hot poker and one attractive ground cover plant, it's now ready for completely new planting.

If only I knew what to plant.
