Tewkesbury

Tewkesbury was our base for the day. We walked the riverside walk, well wrapped up, and then took a "river cruise". We were the only takers on a trip up and down the Avon on a small boat with a captain full of information. He took us up as far as the marina and down as far as the weir.
We had a noisy lunch in Prezzo. Not my choice!
Later in the afternoon we went into Tewkesbury Abbey (see extra) and explored the massive church before staying for Evensong. The music was beautiful, both choir and organ.
