Cooking apples

Today we spent the day at home, putting stuff in the loft, getting Henry's next size of clothes down from the loft (thank you Theo, Sam and Will for giving him your hand-me-downs - thank goodness he was a boy), cooking roast lamb and tidying the garden. The blip is of the cooking apples in our tree which seems quite late this year. The eating apples from our other apple tree started to drop in August, yet these are still clinging on! I think apple crumble or baked apples will soon be on the menu.
