The Shard

Noisy night - sounded like some Ozzies came in late, and left early, banging doors.

I had breakfast in bed, courtesy of M&S at King's Cross. Then it was off to Rabobank. How the corporates live! It was a long day, but a good day. I found it very useful and learned some new stuff, which is always heartening. Unfortunately we had no windows in the room so couldn't see the lovely day outside but afterwards I took advanatge of it and walked along the Thames to Savoy Place. It was a lovely end of the afternoon. The Olympic bunting is still up and the Millenium Bridge was very busy.

After a medicore meal (truth be told I didn't really need it) it was 'War Horse' which was stupebdous. If you get the chance - go. It is going on tour soon. The 'horses' are so real that at the end I cried - for a puppet horse and an actor - it was that moving.

#25 home (thanks tfl journey planner). We have homework from today and anothervisit to London before the start of October.
