Sun over the roof
A very calm autumn morning. I chose to do the earlier walk with my neighbour. Not sure what went wrong but the others seemed to have gone when we got to the meeting point but no worries, that meant we could go where we pleased.
Walking along the edge of the fields above Goit Stock woods the sun started to come through the clouds. I just caught it here as it came up over the farm roof.
We continued to Goit Stock and then back through the woods before doubling back and heading up to Cullingworth to return along the edge of Catstones Moor. A perfectly still day with wisps of smoke hanging in the valleys.
D decided to pick up rubbish about half way through the walk. By the time we got back she had a carrier bag full. What a sad indictment of our society.
