Mono Monday - The Postman Always Rings Twice

"Postman? No, not for ever such a long time... 'sall e-mail, innit. Only ever get junk mail now. Did see a Postman trying the bell a couple of times the other week, but I'm sure they probably hanged him for nuisance..."

In fact we have a collection of very nice post-people who are very good with delivering our mail - albeit it is usually junk. Or bills. And very small Premium Bond wins... and I'd like to remind them they forgot me last month!!!

The post box was closed when the post office went, thankfully not altogether but to the local convenience store. It stands, or at least leans, by the main road telling anyone who had yet to fathom the steel plate across the entry that it is out of service. Not sure I can afford a stamp nowadays, anyhow.
