Bug hunting challenge

JJ and I had our flu jabs yesterday afternoon and although I haven't felt any after effects, I have a huge bruise at the top of my arm and there was so much blood on the cottonwool I thought I might need a blood transfusion.  Ok, I might be exaggerating, a lot.

After a bit of a search round the stems of the scabious I spotted what I think is yesterday's minute cricket with the added bonus of it reproducing. Thanks to Paola for spotting what was happening. CORRECTION. IT'S AN APHID REPRODUCING ITSELF.

I've added an extra to give you a better idea of the size of these creatures against the flower.
