View from the Bench

I walked to Bingley this morning to stock up on buttons to discover the button shop was closed.  Never mind it was one of those autumnal mornings which begins with mist which gradually retreats to the valley bottom, leaving a touch of gossamer on everything and then, in turn, is touched by the warming sun breaking through.  I took several blips of autumny things but then spotted this view from the bench beneath the trees on the edge of the St Ives woodland.  I was busy adjusting settings etc from my kneeling position when I looked up to see a patient jogger waiting for me to finish faffing!

My other autumny blips are here.

Thank you to folks for sorting out my security issue yesterday.  I hope to be back catching up and commenting shortly.

Oh and three jigsaws arrived in the post today.  I said they were my winter ones, Tony reckons they will last me a week!
