SAILING DAY 3

Had a fabulous day sailing today....less scary moments!!
Early morning briefing Do and go where you want just be in harbour at the base of Paxos by 5!!!

A bit too vague for us so we didn't go too far afield (asea)....we found some shallows and took it in turns to jump off the boat for a swim!!then we drifted whilst we had lunch on deck soaking up the sun (sadly the weather is due to change soon:((!!). We played with the sails and got up to 4.4 knots (no idea if that's fast but it was fast enough )
This time we were first into harbour so had some time to explore the town (and we didn't want to be the entertainment for bad harbouring skills!!). Our hostie suggested an hours walk to a nice beach....no way so I stuck out my thumb and we got a lift from a lovely Greek man....so glad the whole beach resort was closed!!!!!aaarrgghh. We started the hour long walk home and the thumb did its magic again!!! Kids do not do this!!!
Enjoyed a lovely meal this evening ... tomorrow we head for the mainland.
