Murder At The Care Gnome

We got a call at 6.30am from the care home to ask if we could go and try and calm J's dad down.

We got there and he settled very quickly after he realised it was us. His room was a bit of a mess, but easily tidied by the, as ever, brilliant staff.

Thinking about it, J reckons that he was in the past again and, specifically, was taking charge at the scene of a murder investigation; hence the upturned room.

Sad, yet at the same time not. Tiring and exhausting at times for us, but still a privilege to contribute to and work with the care home staff to look after him.

Despite these "blips", the staff are very fond of him and his humour still shines through, even though he can't express himself easily...
