The view through the arch

A lovely walk today, in rather damp conditions at times, through the grounds of Dumfries House. Many of the trees in the arboretum were decked in their autumn colours and there were still plenty of flowers in the walled garden.

The arch in the blip forms part of the John Adam bridge which is one of the iconic features on the estate.

Along with millions of others I am now settling down to watch the last ever 'Bake Off' on BBC.  May the best man win!
