Rainbows on Skye

We left home at 10.30am and headed for the Isle of Skye. We stopped at Garve for a hot dog and then through heavy rain to Plockton where the rain had stopped. We had a short walk and a look in the Craft shop and had lunch, I had a trio of salmon , smoked in their own smokehouse, in the Plockton Inn.
We were to early to go to our self catering so went to Kyleakin and Broadford. This rainbow came out just as we approached the old harbour and it was above one of my favourite derelict buildings. A heron was fishing on the waters edge.
On to drop our bags off in Lower Breakish, on to Kyle of Lochalsh for pie and chips and then we went to see the BFG in the ScreenMachine, a large mobile cinema which is surprisingly larger tan we thought:)
We then dropped David off at the college where he'll be working on an animation for King Rollo Films for the next few weeks.
