Not doing the painting!

When I get a new jigsaw I always intend that it will sit on the coffee table for some time, with me passing by and adding the odd piece between jobs.....

How is it then that last night it was well past midnight when I took to my bed and today I've somehow hit the afternoon without putting the planned second coat on the airing cupboard?
