Nurses Tess & Tibbs
My daughter spent a considerable amount of time at home today, taking it easy on the bed in the guest room, as she recouperates from a heavy bout of the cold and flu virus we all seem to have come down with, compounded by the aches and pains she has ended up with since her car accident on Monday.
As expected, her car has been declared a write-off, which we received the official word on today.
I am happy to report that Emma is repairable, and is showing signs today of being well on her way to recovery, with the return of her appetite, and her cheeky sense of humour!
All of the household pets were keen to follow Emma around the house today, and when she decided to have a lay down, Tess soon positioned herself on the floor beside the bed, and Miss Tibbs curled up at Emma's feet. Phoebe (Queen Cat) wasn't far away either, nestled happily among the pillows on the window seat, just a few feet away.
I found a few sewing repair jobs to do, and we all spent the afternoon together, sneezing, coughing, and keeping an eye on our number one patient.
