In My World

Rupert and the Dancing Blooms.

Sounds a bit like a 1960's rock 'n roll band, don't you think?

It is yet another sunny, mild, slightly breezy day. Some might even call it perfect winter weather, which it actually is for this area. The garden is even drying out a bit, as apart from the light shower of rain overnight, we haven't seen a spot of rain in days.

The flowers in the garden are growing like weeds, but unfortunately, so are the weeds! That will be another job for next week, weeding the garden before the summer heat does set in. Rupert the garden gnome, as you can see, is trying to make the most of the shade offered by a dancing yellow bloom beside him.

Sorry about the lack of commenting this last week. Between one thing and another it is a very busy time right now and shows no sign of easing up until after the weekend. I have been peeking at most journals, (I can't resist!) and will get back to commenting (answering emails, doing the housework, catching up on the ironing....) as soon as the busy-ness eases off a bit.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, I'm off to Maclean for the day. Maclean is about two hours drive south of here and a very lovely little town, so I'm looking forward to being there and taking lots of photos. :))
