Can't see the wood for the trees!
An on and off night, didn't get to sleep u til after 1.30, awake at 5, got back off eventually, bin men woke us at 8, then hub woke me with a start as it 9.45 and I was picking youngest soon up at 11.30!
Up pretty sharpish, showered, quick cuppa, left in good time as its half term, but the roads were quiet so arrived in good time thankfully.
My original plan was to go earlier and stop off for today's blip but that went south ;-)
We managed to find a space in the multi storey which was an achievement. as we had gone early so we could park up, we went for a sandwich and drink before his appointments.
First his check up post op, all good insofar as the pressure is steady, it's healing ok, back in 3 weeks. Then on to see the sight loss liaison lady, who has been so helpful with RNIB related stuff, access to work......in hindsight, things we should have done a year so two ago, if only we had known about them, but it's all good, hopefully all the software and kit he needs for his new job will be sorted and might even be in place for when he starts in a couple weeks, fingers crossed :-)
Then we were off back home, I dropped youngest off and drove back, stopping for a quick blip. The woods are looking quite hallooweeny don't you think ;-)
Just having a quick easy tea tonight before off quizzing, we are two down to it, so we will see how that goes!!
