A Break in the Weather

Finally the rain dissipated and the sun shone over The Dalles late this afternoon. This normally dry area has experienced 5 times the amount of rain it usually sees thus far in October. This is a view of The Dalles Bridge looking northeast across the Columbia River into Washington state.

In the extra photo, fog settles into the valleys and roads of High Prairie, while a bank of clouds moves in from the west.  

The forecast is for a couple days of sunnier weather and I am looking forward to it!
