Examined Life

Kraftdurst

In the supermarket Edeka in the center of Regensburg, this drink somehow caught my eye...

This is probably a good example of the fact that I'm hardly striving for technically brilliant, photographic prowess with blipfoto - I hope to take the odd nice photograph, but for me blip is more about chronicling things that I've done, places I've been or stuff I've found funny (as above). It's to compensate for my poor memory if nothing else!

You do see an odd mix of German and English in the cities of Germany - with (in my experience) the vast majority of Germans being able to speak at least some English, I suppose it's quite easy for 'foreign' words to sneak in. There's that, and all the American/English chains in Germany not changing their product names. Wondering what "Turkey & Ham sub" is in German? Turkey & Ham sub.

The title of this post translates as "Powerthirst" because of how much this reminded me of the old internet video - search it out on youtube if you haven't seen it, you'll know what I mean.
