the flyover

One of my favourite views where man-made appears alongside the natural environment. It's the A66 at Keswick running above the path that follows the course of the old railway line. The autumn colours are amazing at the moment. 

I needed one food item that I can only get from a supermarket chain that has branches in the north-west (and a few in Yorkshire) so we combined a walk with a shop. The one item turned into seven. After the walk we had coffee at the museum cafe. If we'd had more time we would have gone around the museum  -   the current exhibitions sound very interesting.
