Winning Wednesday

Thank you whoever was listening to my pleas yesterday, today was such a better day!

Audrey was much more settled (maybe she missed her mama yesterday - awww!) and we just has the loveliest day. The fact she slept 6 hours straight last night certainly helped! I also banished the Blackberry to a drawer after 6pm last night so that there was no chance of any work emails stressing me out before bedtime. Worked a treat and its something I'll repeat!

Headed out for coffee on Beech Road this morning and sat with a magazine and Audrey snuggled on my chest watching the world go by. It felt wonderful. Followed by a walk through the park and then home where we have hung out playing together all day. She seems much more alert and happy and enjoying her rattles and toys. Gave her lots of love to make up for my absence yesterday and can honestly say its the best day we've had in a long time!

Sorry for the moan yesterday. Highs and lows of motherhood eh?
