Freibad Fun

The main thing I remember us doing on this day was going down to the Freibad (outdoor swimming pool) on the island at the confluence of the Donau and the Regen, just over the stone bridge.

It was a nice warm day, the water was a bit cold but you got used to it. We had some fun on the diving board (or at least I did, Charlotte had one try and wasn't a fan!) and ate fresh-cooked chips with ketchup by the pool.

I grabbed this photo on our way back home on a footbridge - a typical touristy shot with the river and Regensburg's most famous landmarks, the Dom and the bridge.
