Remembering

Liverpool - Lenzie - St Andrews - Lenzie - Liverpool.
A lot of driving (thankfully not all in the same day) to meet up with extended family. Strange days funerals, many memories colliding.
The strongest one for me was of an incredibly happy day's visit to St Andrews a few years ago. As we drove through Auchtermuchty, the boys thought the name of the town hilarious, and spent the next few miles trying out various accents and pronunciations; needless to say it is now part of family folklore.
My uncle and aunt were so generous and kind with their hospitality to us, as they always have been since my childhood. It was a special day.
