Is there anything
As relaxed
As a contented cat
Is there anything
Quite at ease
As a feline in slumber
Can any other
Living creature
Turn a rest
Into a living art form
Their act of repose
Involves
A certain level of relaxation
And detachment
Unobtainable
By those mere mortals
Who are not of their race
And who stand mesmerised
In stupid immobility
Staring
And wondering if
There is anything
As contented
As a sleeping cat
