All set for Halloween

We sorted out the pumpkins - and Maurice the interloping marrow.

After the messiness of the drill approach last year, we gave the cookie cutters and mallet approach a go and it worked surprisingly well. Much less messy than the drill :)

We had a trip into Exeter today but much was still cordoned off because of the fire. Sadly, they are going to have to pull down the remains of the Royal Clarence facade tomorrow as it is all too unstable. It is going to need a huge rebuilding effort to get things back into shape.
